Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, Taryn Snyder, PA-C, MMS started her career spending over 20 years building her solo personal training and massage company, teaching aerobics, personal training, providing marathon and triathlon coaching, and managing large commercial and corporate health clubs.
She has received both her Bachelors and Masters of Medical Science degrees from Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. She also currently holds ACE, AFAA and AAAI personal training and coaching certifications, as well as her previous ASCP certified phlebotomist certificate.
Her passion lies in helping others live full, active lives by eating well, exercising regularly and ensuring proper access to proper health care. As a busy mom on-the-go, she enjoys cycling, running, snowboarding and hiking with her family. A former competitive athlete, Taryn has also participated in numerous marathons, triathlons, and fitness competitions.
Taryn also currently participates in several professional groups and has served as a liaison to the NCCPA. She also has volunteered at local high schools for athletic sports physicals each school year, and participated in several 9News HealthFairs from 2015-2020.
She has spent most of her PA career in Orthopedics, Trauma, Spine and Neurosurgery specialties. She has also consulted at Craig Hospital on Brain trauma patients and worked in Plastics, Wound Care, and General Surgery subspecialties.
